Georgia CASA Conference Info

The Georgia CASA State Conference will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta!

This year we are celebrating 20 years of CASA here in the state of Georgia.  Over 20 workshops will be offered focusing on how to enhance your skills in working with children.  This year's keynote speaker will be Michael Piraino.  Michael Piraino has been Chief Executive Officer of The National CASA Association in Seattle, WA, since 1994. He holds law degrees from Cornell Law School and Oxford University, has represented children as a guardian ad litem and has been a consultant to international social service and child advocacy organizations in Europe and Southeast Asia. Mr. Piraino has also authored and co-authored several publications and is a frequent speaker and presenter at symposia on children.  In addition to Mr. Piraino's motivational speech and the myriad of workshops being offered, there is an opportunity to network with over 400 CASA volunteers, board members, staff, and other professionals throughout the day.
